The [sNL] clan is a local group of computer users. Our base is the city of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, well known for instance for it's multi-national electronics concern Philips (inventor of the compact cassette and the compact disk) and the soccer club PSV. Since not all of us live in city of Eindhoven we largely concern ourselves with the south-east part of the Netherlands. This fact gave us the name: South NetherLands... The only thing is that we're now international since [sNL] Rinoa (he's from England) joined the clan to play QuakeWorld bearing [sNL] in front of his name.

The idea of forming a clan was originally adapted from the clans known in the Quake1 game community. Although we are not a clan in their traditional way the concept of a clan appealed to us because we are a group of people that share similar computing interests: we play games on and of the internet, make music, draw, paint and design, do programming, use other operating systems, etc. and we also help each other and others not within the clan with problems regarding software and hardware.

Do we have any plans? Well, no, not really, except having a lot of fun on the internet and with our computers. Check the latest news if you want to see what we've been up to...
